Is this real gold?
No, and it's priced accordingly. Our everyday pieces are stainless steel with an 18k gold PVD coating, the same finish used by many premium jewelry brands: it doesn't tarnish, doesn't turn your skin green, and holds up to daily wear. Our statement pieces with colored stones are gold-tone or silver-tone plated brass with cubic zirconia. Each product page says which one it is.
Will it irritate my skin?
Stainless steel is hypoallergenic and nickel-safe for most people. If you react to most costume jewelry, our steel pieces are usually the finish that works. Plated brass is fine for most skin too, but if you know you're sensitive, stick to the steel line.
Can I wear it in the shower or to swim?
Steel pieces will survive the occasional splash. Plated brass should stay dry. Either way, we recommend taking jewelry off before swimming, showering, and sleeping, and keeping it away from perfume and lotion. Store it in the pouch it came in and it will look new for years.
How do I know what length to pick?
Each necklace lists its length in inches. As a guide: 16" sits at the base of the neck, 18" just below the collarbone, 20–24" over the chest. When in doubt, go longer.
Are the earrings heavy?
No. Comfort is one of Fran's selection rules. Every pair is light enough for all-day wear, and all have secure backs.
Where does my order ship from?
During our launch, pieces ship from our supplier partners, some in the US and some overseas. That's why delivery can take up to 15 business days. Every order has tracking.
Is this a resale or vintage shop?
No. Every piece is brand new, chosen for the woman you are now.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Not yet. We're starting with the US and will add more countries soon.
